So I've been starting to think of what to do after university. I've heard so many horror stories of people working their asses off for yeaaaars of education only to have it amount to nothing when they go back to living with their parents and working at Best Buy for 10 bucks an hour. I think that would really suck, so I figure I should start looking around at jobs now.
CSIS is Canada's version of the CIA. I could be a super cool intelligent officer / spy girl there. I love travelling and James Bond movies, and work in a cool looking building like this, so what's not to love?
Option two is working for this motherfucker:
Just kidding. I have lots of other options (I hope). What do all my student readers want to do when they graduate? Do you guys have a good career planned out yet or are you just winging it like I am?

That would be an epic job.
Option 2 man, option 2.

everybody wants to be a spy at some point. lol
O lawd nice two finger ring King!:D
haha, the king!
btw, check out my new post on GTL Everyday :)
Try to have an 'outline' as opposed to a plan. More flexible.
Burger King sponsors CSIS.
at the moment i'm just floating. i don't have plan planned yet.
I'm still with the same company I worked for when going to college, just doing marketing now. Keeping my eyes open though.
good good good! nice bro!
I hopfully will get my "Abitur" (thats how it is called in Germany) this year,
but what ill gonna do then I dont really now yet
please, dont kill me. :D
Get it spy girl!
that would be awesome if you landed that
Great post! Following you.
free burgers i suppose lol
Good luck with it! It's hard. Trust me, I know. I had solid plans and economy BS ruined it. Offers rescinded, stuck jobless. And with a degree, the mooger fooger is less likely to hire you. Sooooo... I dunno... you basically have to sell your soul. The only people I know who have ever gotten high paying jobs spent a hell of a lot of money in schooling - law school, med school, biz school ... upwards of 70 to 100k a year. So, they are enslaved trying to get that $$ back. I dunno... uni wasn't all that great for me. Felt like a total waste.
Start a company or partnership.
Actually already sorta in the works.
good job man... and good luck witht hat!
I;m trying to get more education after my education. I will never know enough.
Too late for me
i totally wanna work for the king.
work for the king
keep up the good work
nice post, i still don't really know what i'll do
paper cuts or free burgers.....
Summer internships (and if you can even take off during a regular term to intern which is better) are the best ways to get your foot into a job you want.
Worked for me!!
I didn't know Canada even had a CIA equivalent.
I like your choices. Myself, I went into the radiologist tech field. Medical career with no medical school! just a 2 year program and you get paid bank.
If you go for CSIS... you never knew me.
I'm hoping to go into journalism. It seems pretty fucking hard to get into though.
With the economy the way it is... situation is pretty grim.
make your own damn job, start a company, a business, anything is better than working for someone else.
